Yoga is an ancient practice that builds strength and awareness and brings together the mind and body. It includes breathing exercises, meditation and asanas or poses that stretch and flex various muscle groups. The students of RISHS international school celebrated International Yoga day with great alacrity. The morning commenced with great elation. The comparers highlighted on the significance of the day. There was a splendid Dance performance. All the students performed sitting and standing asanas and the importance of these were explained simultaneously. The day concluded with an enlightening speech given by our Principal. She spoke about the benefits of Yoga that it Improves concentration – It leads to better grades, balanced blood pressure, calmness and a sharper mind.
