Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with full fervour as RISHS International School hosted traditional festivity with great enthusiasm. Students aged three to five were beautifully dressed up as Krishna and Radha. Images of Krishna’s infancy were placed in a cradle. The school was well decorated for the celebration and aarti and bhajans were recited and songs related to Janmashtami were played. A puja was performed by the staff and children of the school in the esteemed presence of the honorable Chairman, Mr. N.Sakthivelu. The school also organised Dahi Handi (Uripaannai) event where tiny tots participated with full enthusiasm Fragrance of flowers, soothing aroma of burning camphor and jingle of the bells filled the air. Prasad was distributed to all children after the puja.
