Library
The library is especially intended for students and its key purpose is to enhance the learning curve of students and improve the understanding of the subject, power to think and strengthen problem solving skills in order to make students intelligent, independent and self-reliant. The school has a well stacked library of journals, Encyclopaedia, Fiction, Reference books, Dictionaries etc.
Computer Lab
The lab is equipped with a network of computers and the students are exposed to net-surfing for collecting specialized information, Project work, and Power-point presentations.
Math Lab
Mathematics Laboratory has been introduced for active learning and for making mathematical learning joyful and interesting. The lab is equipped with a number of models like Number meter, Number apparatus, Pocket Chart, Fraction Disc, Watch Model, Spike Abacus and many other such models to facilitate the students to develop the concept of numbers in an easier way.
The important thing in science is not so much to obtain new facts as to disc. The Science Block of the school is a double-storeyed block comprising of a spacious Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Computer Lab, Math Lab and Fashion Studies Lab. The school has recently got affiliation for Bio-Technology and is in the process of constructing a Bio-Technology Lab.
Physics Lab
The Physics Lab is a spacious hall that can accommodate 25 to 30 students at a time. The lab is equipped with the latest equipment catering to the Higher secondary CBSE syllabus where students carry out their experiments in an innovative environment.
Chemistry Lab
The Chemistry lab is a well-ventilated Hall and has been recently renovated to provide a clear and hygienic ambience to carry out experiments. The lab is annually upgraded with the latest equipment and safety gadgets.
Biology Lab
The Biology lab is well-equipped with all required specimens to provide first-hand knowledge to the students about the subject.
GAMES AND SPORTS
RISHS lays great emphasis on sports and games, believing firmly that through this medium a child can imbibe the basic human qualities of fair play, sportsmanship, a spirit of competition and qualities of leadership. There are regular and ample timings for sports. The School has a large playground and provides all facilities for sports and games.
- Outdoor Games: Cricket. Volleyball, Badminton, Throw ball, and Tennis.
- Indoor Games: Carom, Chess and Table-Tennis.
SMART BOARD
Smart Boards provide new ways for teachers to teach, and student to learn. These tools support a wide variety of learning styles. For instance, visual learners can watch as their tutors use the whiteboards to project visual elements, whereas audio learners can listen and have discussions.
HEALTH CARE
The school engages the services of qualified Staff Nurse on its roll. Periodical Health-check-ups are a regular feature and the students are also motivated towards Balanced and Healthy Food Habits. The school believes in imparting healthy food habits to the students for a healthy mind can reside only in a healthy body. With this objective, the school has implemented a balanced diet menu for the students.
