Expo on Herbal Medicine was organised by the RISHS International School to sensitize the students about our rich medical heritage. As many as 53 herbal medicines were displayed by the students with the self explanatory signage board. Students got the platform to know the value of our native medicine .Students have come forward to take up 15 basic medicinal plants among the few were Tinospora cordifolia, cympopogon citratus, Solanum tribolatum, Sauropus androgynous, Andrographis paniculata and culinary herbs to grow in their terrace and conserve the medicinal plant diversity and know how techniques to grow medicinal plants.

Founder Chairman N.Sakthivelu encouraged and stressed the students to become entrepreneurs in future by adding value to those herbal products. RISHS will take up this idea to the next level in showcasing the value added product from plant sources said the School Principal, Mrs.Meenatchi Syham Raman.
