Its rightly said “The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals” Festivals inform, educate, bring people together, break the monotony of routine and give us a chance to re-energize our body, mind, and spirit. Of all the festivals, Ganesh Chaturthi is the most colorful. Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu festival that marks the birthday of Lord Ganesha. The Celebration commenced on a spiritual note with the prayer song performed by the choir. A keen toddler, dressed up as Parvathi narrated the story lining the birth of Lord Ganesha. The little Indianite were thrilled with yet another story teaching moral values like devotion and obedience. The festive flavour was concluded by the Pooja performed by our Honorable Chairman, Mr. N Shakthivelu in presence of Principal, Vice Principals, teachers and the tiny tots. The grand celebration saw the rousing chants of Ganpati Bappa Morya! Later, in the respective classes, children coloured beautiful umbrellas to express their devotion. The activity aimed at eco-friendly celebration of the festival. The festival awakened devotion, creativity and understanding and learning amongst children.
